Nuggets’ Media Day Provides Platform for Players to Address Key Storylines
Today marks a big moment for the Denver Nuggets as players and staff step up to the microphones to share their thoughts. After a turbulent yet mostly positive offseason, the team now has the chance to reset publicly, demonstrate unity, and show they’re prepared to pursue another championship.
Still, plenty of intriguing subplots surround the roster, and media day is bound to bring some noteworthy comments.
Nikola Jokić
The main question for Jokić centers on his contract status. He opted not to sign an extension this summer, but expectations remain that he’ll commit to a five-year supermax deal next offseason. Whether he addresses it directly or not, his future will definitely be a topic of discussion.
